What is the pilot?

Lekana is in pilot. We onboard one business at a time, free for three weeks, so the before-and-after is real. One week to get the data flowing. Two weeks running. At the end, you decide.

The reconciliation engine works. What we need now is a wider set of businesses with different point-of-sale systems, different banks, different volumes, and different ways of working, so the platform is ready when we open it up.

One pilot business has been running on it for six months and has surfaced R 42 000 to R 100 000 in leakage every month. That’s one story. Yours will be different. What we’re looking for is more stories.

Duration

Three weeks total:

• Week 1: Onboarding. Get the data flowing. Capture the before.
• Weeks 2–3: Running. Lekana runs against your real operation.
• End of week 3: Measure again. Same questions, new numbers.

Short enough that you know where you stand. Long enough for the before-and-after to be real.

What we ask of you

• A real business on the platform. Real data, real banks, real cash.
• Your starting point. The time you currently spend on reconciliation, the gaps in confidence, the things that don’t add up. We help you put a number on it.
• The full three weeks. One onboarding, two running.
• Honest feedback. The good, the broken, the surprising.
• If the pilot surfaces a useful result, permission to share the headline outcome — anonymously, and only if you’re comfortable. No data. No specifics. Just what Lekana found and what it meant for your business.

Approval

We approve each business individually before access is granted. Subject to approval.

One site or many

We want businesses of different shapes in the pilot. A single-site business and a five-site group stress the platform differently, and we want to learn from both.

Limitations

The pilot is open while we are still learning. We stay close to each business through onboarding and the two weeks running, which puts a natural limit on how many we can take at once. When we have what we need, we close it.

Termination

Either party may terminate the pilot with written notice. If terminated early, your data is deleted within 7 days, except as required by law.

Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by South African law. Disputes are resolved according to the terms in the Data & Confidentiality Policy.
